Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment by lisae: Wow, very dramatic. I didn't even notice this one as a thumbnail, it just surprised me :). Looks like you used some heavy despeckle to get rid of the graininess... I don't mind that look though. It's neat how the longer I look at it, the more I notice the outlines of the person behind the shower curtain. Perhaps a bit of backlighting in there would have helped make it a bit less subtle though. Or more contrast? |

Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment by GeneralE: This is one of those one's I don't really "like" but is well done -- very creepy. Maybe the only thing I'd try to do is avoid the bright hightlights on the curtain, leaving the blade as the only element with a pure white. |

Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment by mci: i like this shot. i think it would be better if you could see more of the sillhouette of the person in the shower, though. as it is i didn't even realize someone was in there until i looked at this shot a few times. i think it would break up the negative space that is the shower curtain and add more suspense to the shot. great concept, though, and the b&w is a good touch. |

Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment by MrsKro: I think I would have liked this more if you could see the image of the woman a little clearer through the curtain...not crystal clear but just slightly more. I like the angle and the grainy effect and I've had to come back and up my vote for this a little after studying it...nice job |

Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment by FranziskaLang: Hehehe, not quite what I expected for this challenge (cute babies, and smiling old folks)! I almost missed the person behind the shower curtain, would there have been a way to increase the contrast? Also, the whole picture is somewhat grainy and more shades of gray than b&w. Still, interesting take on things and nice composition. |
