Though I like the colour combination and the idea, those beans jsut seem a little too agressive. They're catapulted into that coffee cup, not gently strewn. Did you try a shorter shutter time as well? And a bit higher a perspective? Then you'd better get that slow motion wowie feeling of a great cup of coffee I think you were looking for.

you have a good idea, BUT IMO I think that you needed to speed up the shutter so you could catch the movement of the beans, rather than blurred beans..

Strangely enough, I would have liked this better centered (and I'm usually a big fan of negative space. Perhaps because it's such an interesting face and it has intensity; it feels like the intensity is lost over on the side.
