Wheel of timeby silverleafComment by myfelix: This could be a great shot. I like the concept very much but in this case I think you are shooting a little too close and just a touch off angle. The lighting is great and the little touches of subtle color is good. |

Wheel of timeby silverleafComment by omnibus: I think there's a bit too much dynamic range in this picture - between the bright highlights at the top of the wheel and the very dark shadows it's hard to get a feel for the rust color. An overcast day, or something to diffuse the light, or maybe some fill flash for the shadows could help here. |
