I keep on going back to this. I am sure people will find fault that this is not banancentric but the challenge says as long as there is a banana in the picture ... so surely this one fits. I love color contrast, the off centering of the rose and the brilliant red color of the rose. I just wish you didn't cut the petal so close at the bottom, but I am just being petty. DOF is also great. I don't know what else to say but I hope you finish in the top ten, or top twenty at least.

First of all, hilarious title. :-) I wish this shot were a little more clear since such shiny banana slices don't seem to do well in soft focus. But the colors are amazing and the idea for this shot was really nice. Good job.

The flower is lovely and well position in the picture; however, the bananas are all slimy looking which really distracts from the whole thing.
