My first issue with this photo is the very obviously tilted horizon. It does help to keep an eye on your background during actually taking the photo. I realize this is easily correctable with editing software, but for this challenge, it's all in the eye. Second, the colors seem really muted. Kind of muddy. Looks like it was just too bright of a day for your camera to handle it. The sky is totally whited out, and the colors of the tractor and surroundings are dulled quite a bit. Focus seems ok. I might have liked to have seen a different angle on the tractor as well. Side on, dead center of the photo doesn't really draw me in and hold me there. I think maybe a different time of day, or different day all together would have made a dramatic difference with this shot. ~Heather~

I feel like this could have been shot from a much more interesting angle, eliminating the cluttered background and the child in the front. I think the presence of cars and people distract from the point of this challenge.

a little bright...i can tell by the shadow that you were taking in the direction of the sun...maybe try it with the sun more to your back. I also might either center the tractor more or give some negative space in front of it instead of behind. Comments aside, it's a cool picture and a nice subject.

Very cute capture of the child. It has a lot of potential and the only real flaw is the themometer reflection in the glass it destroys an otherwise charming photo. Just watch out for those little details in the future. It really was a very good attempt.

I see what you're trying to so here, and I like the idea. The shadow and the leaf contrast the background - but I think it could be better executed. The top of the pick has a green haze, and the overall background has a good bit of rainbow graining. I don't know what to suggest to rememdy the problem, but as it is I can't score it as highly as I would if those problems weren't there.

Great shot, it seems a bit over exposed and the top third is washed out. With my camera on a bright day I always adjust the exposure.

The only thing I dont like is that you cropped it right at the end of the leaf... maybe a bit of space between the tip and the frame would have looked better (IMO). Otherwise, nice DOF, good colour and nice work on the lighting... not too harsh here.
