Full of Graceby channeledComment by dsidwell: This is a really super idea! The idea that a child's foot can be graceful is so lovely. I also like the natural pose here, and the colors of the jeans and pants. This shot might have worked better had the foot been more defined. We often think of graceful things as curvy, so working with that generalization, it would be nice to see the curve of the insole lit nicely. This eliminates your nice candid here, and you'd have to move your subject a little, but it might be worth experimenting with. |

Got Blood?by channeledComment by WILDBLUE: Scary shot. Creatuive idea. You might want to try a different lighting source on the subject. Good focus and DOF. 5. |

Bird in a Bushby channeledComment by kiwiness: The idea is good. I have a couple of suggestions for you though. The shadow is too centered in your image, the plants are kind of grainy and out of focus and the background is a tad overexposed. I hope that was of some help to you. |

Full of Graceby channeledComment by Pidd: This looks like just a snapshot of a child's foot without any real artistic statement being raised from it. I think this is a case where too much detail is detrimental in that the veins and color variences give it a rather ugly feel instead of evoking a sense of grace. Maybe it would have been better in black and white. |

Bird in a Bushby channeledComment by Flash: 6. This needs some work. Background is too bright, the forground is too out of focus and the bird needs to be defined sharper. I do appreciate the entry and opportunity to give feedback. |

Bird in a Bushby channeledComment by Beagleboy: Nice idea and I think I know what you were trying to do but this photo has two big flaws with the foreground being so out of focus and the background way overexposed. Keep experimenting and you'll be able to pull stuff like this off no problem. |
