Dramatic Beautyby channeledComment by justine: The title fits her well. Pretty girl. I would like to have this a bit more sharp with some dramtic lighting. YOUR lucky to have her as a model...lovely girl and great with the camera. |

Dramatic Beautyby channeledComment by Olyuzi: I like the way her black blouse merges with the black background isolating her beautiful red hair and face. Nice catch light in the eyes too. Focus could be a bit crisper though. |

Daffodil Orangeby channeledComment by orussell: Looks like you took this in the middle of the day in very bright sunlight. Taken under overcast conditions or at a different time of day can make a dramatic difference. Shadows will be less strong and colours will be more vibrant and less blown out. Also I notice that the left of your image is out of focus, while the right is relatively sharp - it doesn't look intentional - maybe blurred due to camera shake or recomposed after focusing on the right? If you wanted to use a shallow DOF to emphasize a particular part of the flower you might try shooting at a different angle. Hope this was helpful. :) |

THE BUZZby channeledComment by scalvert: Cute. Not really appropriate for the cover of an entertainment magazine, but cute. Nice to finally see some signs of Spring (not here yet). Composition looks better to me when cropped on both sides. |

Daffodil Orangeby channeledComment by Hax0r: Too much light? I can sense there is a ton of detail that wants to be shown but just needs the right light. Maybe a bit soft in the focus too? If this was a flash shot then maybe you could experiment with using sheer or very white cloth a foot or so in front of the flash to defuse. |

THE BUZZby channeledComment by Dave Gordon: The shot fits the magazine's name, but it hardly looks like a magazine cover shot. The amount of background blur and the horizontal format hardly qualifies. |
