Very nice - good lighting, nice colors, fun subject. Strong diagonal composition is an ironic companion to the delicate ladybug - creates some nice tension. Light a little blown out on the bug, and focus seems a bit soft. Very enjoyable!

I love this shot. I just wish there was a little more backlight behind the bug (top right) to give a little highlight to seperate it from it's background. Well done with the concept, composition and rest of the lighting though!!

This is a lovely composition. I love the lighting, and the darkness of the background. Since you really seem to know what you're doing I don't feel super critical offering some extra comments :) -> the seeds and filaments are so compelling, beautifully lit and in focus that I'm slightly confused about what the subject is - the ladybug or the plant. The title suggests the former, but the reflection on the back-end of that shiny carapace is so bright, and the darker parts (head, top of carapace near head) disappear into the background - my eye just kept drifting back to the seeds, and for that reason the ladybug is not as compelling as the rest of the image. That may seem really nitpicky, but I wouldn't have given such specific, criticism if I didn't think the image was so strong to begin with.
