The subject's nearness to delivery is unmistakable, but the image is lacking an element (e.g., a calendar, a timepiece) to propel the sense of "waiting." The window and reflection in the window work against the image.

Nice idea, but I think a little bit of effort could have been put into making this a more interesting shot. A dirty floor isn't the most interesting backdrop for a photograph. Also, I think this is not exactly what I picture in my mind when I think of baseball. How about some action next time like a ball being caught or something to jazz up the photo.
