There's something a bit strange about this shot. The detail in the foreground object (duck?) and the background pier don't match up. It just doesn't feel like a fog effect to me, feels more like you've dodged the background to fade it out.

I'm not saying that's what you did, I'm just saying that's what the shot feels like to me.

Did you use a tripod or rest it on something? The capture of blur is awesome. And at the same time you've managed to keep the sign in the middle clear and sharp. This is a fun shot. Love the energy.
