Doesn't grab me, as it's a pretty common theme. To make something like this really pop there needs to be something about it that is unusual (or unusually beautiful) for this type of shot, whether it be in the light, what the creature is doing, etc.

Just wanted to reply to the "Crop" comments... I didn't crop it. I wanted as close a shot of the tire as possible and to get the detail I was looking for, this was as much of the truck as I could get in the shot. Had I moved slightly to the right, there would be a complete rear tire, but still no top of the truck because the front tire (and main subject) is at the bottom of the frame. Then the crop would have been altogether too tight.

For this picture, I believe that there is too much flower at the bottom. If you crop it out, this picture will stand out.

The DOF is so narrow in this picture that the insect is out of focus...the picture would have been alot better if it had been in focus. Nice pic though.

Nice seeing. The combination of colors and textures on the leaves are great. Not mucg detail in the center of the flower - maybe a bit of light could have been bounced in?
