I didn't have time to vote in this challenge but I certainly would have given you a 6 or 7 for this image.
Great use of selective desaturation, the colour of the cereal box really making the image pop.
I especially like the slight reflection of the bowl in the table.

Too orangy cast. The fire place looks more focused than the dog. Fire place is tilted. I would have given a higher score if the tone wasn't as orange, the dog was focused, and the tilt of the fire place was corrected. Just my honest critique.

Dogs and fire places are a natural candid subject as they both fit together like honey and fresh bread. In this case, the image doesn't work due to under exposure of the subject and the over exposure of the fire in the fire place. A little more time composing this image would have helped significantly.
