hard to believe someone would paint a bench so dramatically. Composition is nice, DOF works. I think I would have liked the legs included in the selective saturation. editing and tone suggest a bit of creepiness -- dark vignette, high contrast, dead leaves/branches/weathering, but the colors don't seem to match that feeling.

This is so compelling, I can't help returning to it over and over. The mix of buried boat with the snow topping is so reminiscent of a coffin on it's way into the ground. The lostness we feel upon a death that is close to us. 10
