Very nice capture of the museum. Well done, it isn't easy to take photos of buildings without getting some kind of leaning effect, and you have very little if any lean in this photo. Color and detail of the building are also good.

Greetings from the Critique Club Mr. President
And you're not just the President, you're also a member!
Oh wait... wrong club...

Composition - My first impression of this shot is that it is a really tough shoot. I've tried several times to shoot my fish in a much much smaller tank, generally unsuccessfully. The composition of this shot is pretty good and not really yielding too many problems. The colors are very good and the other fish in the water makes it a little more realistic. At least I think it's another fish.

Technical - Sharpness - This is the major problem with this photo. The slow shutter speed would have to have a perfect pan technique to properly portray this killer. It would be a 1 in 10,000 shot if you could get it. Its damn near impossible to ask him to stay still for that long as well. The lighting is actually pretty good in here for the circumstances. I'd expect it to be darker, unless you PS'ed it lighter. The framing is really very good.

Overall - The water looks like it came from a painting. The shark looks a little fake on it, but by the movement of it, I'm sure its real. A very tough shot to do. Its done adequately but not exceptionally. And I think that all boils down to if you could make it sharp enough. You'll have to make another trip to this aquarium and try a few more shots. It'll be worth it when you get one. Good luck and keep shooting. - BoB

I'm trying to figure out how to ride one of these! This shot really goes far in celebrating the unicycle.

Club,
What I first noticed about this picture was the lovely contrast between the yellow building and the blue frame of the door. That is a great color contrast, and a real attention grabber. I also like how the "verticleness" of the tree and the "verticalness" of the door lead the eyes up through the frame. The vertical shape is also contrasted nicely by the diagonal "motion" of the shadows. I like how neither the door or the tree is in the center, but each is working together in the photograph.

Though the details in the sidewalk, and other shaded areas are good, it seems a bit blown out on the right, especially the trunk of the tree. The positive of this is that it gives it a "strong" look, but the negative is that it can be distracting and even painful if you look at it too long. :-)

As far as meeting the challenge, it has a tree and some shrubbery, so it does meet the challenge as far as I am concerned, even if the tree doesn't seem to be the main focus.

One of the quirkier forms of transportation this week...!

This shot has been set up well but it's a pity you caught the glare of the flash/lighting on the frame of the unicycle. One of the more interesting opfferings this week.

LOVE the moody lighting on the chrome, and that gleam below the logo. the black bg is very well done. the shot is a hair soft, not sure where you locked focus. might want to have bright lights on to focus (then switch off AF) and then turn off for shooting. could use a little more light on the seat perhaps, but that's a nitpick. A very unique and pleasing interpretation.
