Terry, this is a nice capture and works well for a local paper. You did a wonderful job at capturing the King.

It strikes me as odd that it scored as low as it did. Techincals are good. Composition is not the strongest, but not "bad". I probably would crop it at the left edge of the podium.

I liked your title and it is such that often runs with these types of photos. I might have added the Landcaster, PA to the title, but it is a trivial thing that isn't neccesary.

I think you captured a nice moment here, but as we both know DPC likes extremes. Extreme angles, extreme lighting , etc.... so while you had a good example of photojournalism, you didn't get that POP that voters here are looking for. That doesn't say anything negative about your talent as a photographer, IMO, just a spoiled voter base that often does not understand a genre.

the cawl and camera are perfect, but the model doesn't look dead enough. Perhaps you could hit him over the head a few more time. ;) Nice composition and good choice to leave this dominated by black.
