Meets Challenge: 1 of 3. I don't think this is lowkey. At least, not enough for me. I'd have preferred some highlights of key features of the dog, not a full-on face in full light.
Technical: 2 of 3. Good focus and color, but there's a lot of empty space to the right. Maybe a little less.
Emotion: 1 of 3. It's a cute dog, but this shot's not saying anything to me. There's no action, no struggle, no interest.
Awe: 0 of 1.

Nicely done. Black and white works well. I don't know if I would have included the uppermost portion of the image. I think I would have liked to see the lines running toward (and off) the edge of the image.
