Pot Belly Pig by BuddyBaumComment by Sheryll: Oh he looks so sad. This definitely has texture however the technical execution could be better. I think the dof works well and the composition is good but overall the photo is very flat. This could be helped with lighting during the capture or in post you can bring it out more with some curves and contrast. |

Pot Belly Pig by BuddyBaumComment by Steef: he looks kind of sad. nice shot. i think maybe a touch more contrast or a levels adjustment would help it pop a bit more. |

Pot Belly Pig by BuddyBaumComment by Teafran: A solid entry into the challenge, it meets the criteria in a different and unique way. From a technical standpoint, the image is a more than adequate even though it is underexposed and less saturated than it should be. The artistic impact is interesting and is a plus. A more than adequate entry into the challenge. |

Incoming!by BuddyBaumComment by smudgeSMJ: Okay, there's a lot going on here, some of it good and some of it not so good. I love the way the yellow pops, it's nice and saturate, and I like how many insects are included, it makes for a great scene. The background is a little busy, lots of lines going everywhere and although the bee is in focus, the flowers, which are bright and the first thing the eye tries to focus on, see to be oof enough to be distracting. I also think that the green leaf that extends right up from the bottom of the frame is distracting. |
