Lovely color and composition. The narrow DOF makes the petals look like they are stretching to the edges of the picture - dynamic! Wish the crop wasn't quite so close on the right, just a little more breathing room for the center of the flower would be better. Just a bit sharper focus o the flower center? 8

A good macro which, IMO, could be somewhat improved upon by extending the shallow depth of field to the precise point(s) of interest. The composition is appropiately dynamic.

The overly heavy border (somewhat reminiscent of an orbituary), however, diminishes the potential size of this capture while distracting from the subtlety of the subject. The black hairline applied here by default would, IMHO, been ideal.

Good image. The soft focus in the foreground leads in well without being over powering (which it may have been if in sharp focus) The centre of interest is in a strong position and the the back ground is soft again. Not overly sure on whether it evokes the olfactory senses for me though.
