Seems quite soft like there is some camera shake from hand-holding, and the composition isn't great. My suggestions - crop in real tight, leaving very little outside the bowl and eggs, and add light, especially sunlight to get your shutter speed up. (Or shoot on a tripod)

I actually liked this entry for the challenge and scored it substantially over what you ended up with.

The foreground OOF container works fine but it is a large percentage of the overall comp. Don't know if you could have changed your POV to still include it, but make it a little less prominent? I do understand that it's a key part of the overall presentation.

Would have liked this a whole lot better if the near box had been in focus. Having a big OOF object obstructing half the shot is distracting at best. There's potential here, with the repetition and even the lines of the stair railings going back up into the photo, but a better focus decision would have helped a lot IMO.

Hello fellow geek! Unfortunately the crop of this photo makes it quite small. A good concept, but the composition doesn't add a lot of interest. It might have looked better if a selection of books were taken off of the shelves, and arranged in a pleasing way. Same concept, just more visual interest.
