A Grand Entranceby dbortoComment by EL-ROI: With all the hub-bub on the forums about water drop shots you are brave to enter into the fray. This effort looks to be a beginning effort at mastery so forgive me if I am wrong here. What I see can be improved upon is a few things. I would say to get closer. Use a macro lens and get in the water's face. I think water shooters get their camera's wet! Also, use a uniform background. You did great with the background being out of focus from choosing the appropriate DoF, however, there is some clutter on the right that shows in color and screws up the graduated grey background. You did great at stopping the action of the drops and showing off your flash control skills! (If you used flash... there sure is nice even lighting on the glass and no blown spots!) |
