A very interesting image. Very plain in colour, very basic, and yet extremely effective. The shapes of the fence and its shaddows cast a simple pattern that makes this image really work. The composition is really good. The border compliments the photo very well. A very good and different submission

This is what this reviewer has been waiting for - a perfect minimalist construction that combines the minimalist meme with impressionist ideals - the abstract reflection perfectly compliments the solid and properly composed subject with the added feature of zest stripes on the skin of the orange. An excellant composition and still life complimented by pleasing tones and colors set off brilliantly with the zest scraper. An extremely effective image - well done.

I really liked the thumbnail but clicking through it's a little bit too sharp for me I think.

The shadows and the fence are gorgeous and the composition really works but the texture of the sand doesn't really work for me, I'd want it to be smoother instead of the one dimensional sandpaper look.

It's still a solid photo though. Also I am very well aware that the exact quality of the sand isn't under your control. A slightly different post processing might have changed the effect a bit though.
