greetings from the critique club!

your comments, which you seem to have taken in stride, pretty much say it all. compositionally, it's a very complicated image with a lot going on. the biggest issue, imho, is the lack of a single focal point. while you're trying to make a point about what can be considered an "enemy," you're almost presenting the users with a bullet point list of other options. it might have worked better to focus on one alternate theme and take your best shot at that.

side note: to me it almost seemed like you were including credit cards in your enemies list, which is a little confusing in context of everything else.

technically, shots with mirrors are very difficult to pull off well. this might have been better on a plain background. since the shot has so many subjects anyway, it makes sense to not muddy it any further with a complex background.

good luck in future challenges!

Good execution, but it could use more contrast.

I see the building but I feel for your score :( I suspect you will take a bashing for being creative... My main concern is not with the creativity but that it's a bit soft. On DPC if you are going to think out the box I think you have to do it perfectly, so only a 4 from me sorry.

This is a really neat idea! The photo itself could use some contrast, as it looks a bit washed out. It might have helped to burn in the eye area a little to make the building within pop...

An interesting idea, but you're going to get punished for your "out of the box" thinking.

Love the idea, but it needed a bit more to be successful. Keep it up, you'll get it right!

Oooops,

50th place... Thank you to the people that contacted me and made comments. All comments received received are constructive, in my eyes.

If someone has taken the time to say anything about my image, then they must have noticed it, which is what it's all about . . !!!!

As it's a first attempt, I didn't expect miracles but what my image is trying to say is that some enemies are not so obvious and do not have to be
another human being..!

It all seems a bit too muddled together, putting a wee bit more space between the items a little might've helped. I really love the creativity though.
