Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by daysez: I really like the soft diffused lighting. Fwiw, my preference would be to use the 1.6 aspect ratio so I could crop tighter, less dark space on the right. Also, and I forget too, look at the background for distract from the picture like the poll or whatever it is outside the window. These things are minor; this is one of the top submitions, good photography. |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by welcher: LOVE the use of B&W here. Especially powerful is the underexposed right-hand part of the photo. Too bad there's a screen in the window. Can't get over the wonderful use of light and dark here. |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by pabletto: Nice one. Now, just if you had removed this pole from the balcony.... But still, I like it! |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by liltool: Nice and soft tone. Great balance. Sparkle in the eye. Just enough of a smile. I love it. |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by RonSB: Lighting is very good. Evokes a peaceful happiness. The only draw-back is the cylindrical object out the window that distracts your attention. 9 as is, 10 without the distraction. |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by itsaghostcar: You've done a great job capturing the mood in this photo. A good choice for B&W. I like the way the light has created a twinkle in her eye. the object outside leaning against the balcony really ruins the entire feeling of the photo. I did a quick crop into portrait (480 x 640), the left edge being the vertical panel of the window. Doing so also cuts some of the darkness on the right, leaving just her face. The eyes, nose and arm then create a nice diagonal in the photo, and what I feel is an even more compelling image. |

Day Dreamer by MrsKroComment by Kimbly: Lovely shot. Shows what window light can really do, especially on an angelic-looking kid, and the tonal range is very good. My one criticism is that if you could have moved that chair/broom thing in the window, it wouldn't look so much like she was happily gazing out at a wooden stick. |
