I think something that would give your photo more impact would be to zoom in on the buildings to the right and fill the frame a little more. The lights to the left of the image are interesting, but I think detract slightly from the overall shot.

The black space works well, but perhaps a little too well.

Experiment with your shooting location and perspective.

You've got a great eye, and a talent for night photography. Keep it up!

There is a tendency to overexpose but that is what is popular in DPC. leveling the horizon would have helped this image as the buildings have a tilt. Bumping up bvecause colors are glorious.
