yes ... if only i'd known negative space was next week's challenge ... sigh! ;) thanks for all your kind comments. to answer some of your comments:

syamjonimi ... i put the tomatoes on a white sheet of cardboard. then increased the contrast and the highlights in my photo-editing software. check out //www.langpage.com/dpchallenge/index.com, i've posted the original photo there.

kavey, lennier ... i believe someone thought i might have spot-edited the background.
