If you could have included both gauges so they were fully viewable in the pix--one over the other this would have been more interesting and ballanced. Just my opinion.

An interesting shot. An old stone archway (a castle?), can't tell if the guy is standing in a doorway, or on top of a window sill (the dark foreground gives no clues), I think I see a couple trees beyond the opening (so is he high off the ground?), so is this guy trying to "escape," thinking about suicide? Okay, you made me look at this image far too long wondering about the story behind it; for that I'll give this a 7.

A very centred composition, and the surroundings don't then add to it. A large hole being evident, or some equipment, or something other than just the sign and some weeds would have helped this

I liked the bold, brassy (pun intended) look. The slot on the side might have added some intrigue.

This is certainly one type of hope. Good composition, but I think the subject is to dark for the background. More light should be lighting it up perhaps?
