Very cute, I like how her eye is framed by the greenery. I like you you can see her shy smile in her eye. The DOF works in the sense it adds to her hiding, but the large blurry rise is distracting. Would be better without the rose bush at all and just the hedge. As is, you could crop the right hand side, losing the rose and keeping the green.

I do like the great smile of the girls eye, I can almost hear her giggle. I don't see to much "shy" in the image though, more "hide and seek". Also the foreground rose disturbs a lot.

I wasn't quite sure how this fit into the over-all theme, but what a clever picture! Nice use of depth of field to draw the eye to that cute little face. Very playful and fun!

The girl is cute, the colors are pretty, but that out-of-focus, very light flowr in the front dilutes the effect.
