jessby FourPointXComment by EL-ROI: Nice pose and a great smile makes this a wonderful headshot! The color is a little cool having a blue hue to it showing up especially in the whites of her eyes. Technicals are all good as far as focus exposure, etc. I like the catchlights captured in her eyes and you did a nice job with the nose ring showing no particularly overt glare. |

sales are going through the (ceiling) roofby FourPointXComment by RyanW: I wonder how many people took notice that the background is upside down before handing out their low votes. Apparently I was one of your highest voters, though i will admit early on i was much lower. It was only on second viewing that i saw the true upside-down-ness of this image. |

paradise obscuredby FourPointXComment by MelonMusketeer: This just says S E Florida. Voting probably would have gone better if the whole trees were in the shot. Maybe there was something behind them that you didn't want to include. Free studies are pretty tough. It seems that this would have done better though. |

wishes to remain anonymousby FourPointXComment by Melethia: Wow. What the heck is that concoction? Good composition. Seems to have a bit of artifacting but my screen is very bright and I can sometimes see stuff most people cannot see. |

too farby FourPointXComment by samrusoff: looks to me like oversharpning or too much shadow/highlight work left behind halos on the fence and other edges |

punkby FourPointXComment by EL-ROI: You got the dark shot and a rugged subject for that grunge look, but what brings this down for me is in the processing. You didn't really get and texture shown. What you got was a lot of noise grain. Also the fringing from the extreme HDR needs to be taken care of in post. There are nice tutorials out there to get that done. |
