This shot is extremely flat looking. I thought it had a lot more in it however, so I copied it into paintshop pro and tried some common adjustments on it. After doing levels, curves, saturation and contrast, it really bumped this up a notch and brought out some nice detail and colors. As it stands, however, I'm afraid I have to give this a 4 for a good effort that has potential, but needs some more work. Sorry.

Interesting subject. looks spongy. Seems like this could use some more editing. Needs to be lightened up quite a bit. and it's a bit noisy.

Deep DOF means most of the image is in focus, this is shallow DOF so doesn't fit the theme.
