Superb detail in this shot. You don't see these guys resting in the mowed grass very often. They usually seek out a place well above the ground to light for a break. The DOF looks like this was shot at f11 or f16.

Oh, if there was no trees... Looks like the skies are opening. Little saturation bump would make it more "dramatic" and eye catching. Nice approach to the challenge theme. Good luck :)

Aren't moments like this glorious? At first I wasn't sure I liked the composition, but I've decided I like the symmetry left to right. I might have tried to crop out the trees, though. I don't think they add anything. Also, some color adjustments might have made this 'pop' a bit more. 6

Good exposure to capture the rays and highlights in the cloud. The Sun is a treasure, we don't value it enough in our lives and thus take it for granted. We often forget that a picture tells a thousand words and place too much emphasis on technical ability. I personally would have zoomed in on the clouds and avoided the trees completely.

Not much of a hidden treasure here, and the foreground is distracting. Kind of a typical sun behind the clouds shot. OK, but nothing memorable or unique about it. 4. Sorry.

Plenty of twists and curves here. That's for sure. As for the photo...the lighting is VERY flat and dull. Is your bg material supposed to be white? Or is it really grey?
