I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Great confidence in your subject to present it in such a bold manner - I like that. It has a very nice colour palette too.

Critical stuff: It seems rather 'smooth', I think a bit higher local contrast may have helped bring out some of the texture a bit more effectively.

Overall: Very nice work.

Nice rusty crusty. I like the duct tape. Could probably benefit from a little more visual oomph. Yea, that it. About a pound and a half of Topaz ought to do the trick. Unless you are a Topaz hater, in which case forget I said that.

Somewhat ho-humish as a subject, at least for me. Sorry. On a technical note, the lighting is flat with little contrast.

A great subject and evocative shot. The only thing that would improve it for me is cropping out some of the ground in the bottom of the image to make the bus and tree/sky take a more dominant role. That is just me. I like it though.
