One can be lonely in the midst of a crowd, don't you think?” ― Christine Feehan, Dark Prince

I would have rated higher if there was only houses as the crowd on side distract me :( 5

Wendy the lighting is so pristine that I truly miss your notes. I do not think that I'll ever have the patience to set a scene like this without having a real photo studio; perfect background. ISO 100...etc without omitting the challenge of showing good hands posture and quality
As composition, the elements seem sprinkled too evenly as is the quota white to black. This is of course analyzing very carefully an excellent image. I would have implied a story somehow or just go to the bare bone of sifting the flour. I just saw that eliminating the salt and eggs (and perhaps changing the location of the measuring cup) and leaving more room might make it more film noir. It's about the passionate baker in the middle of the night. This is of course splitting hair in admiration of a good work.
Boy, I wish I could accomplish this. I seldom use a tripod (the drudgery!). Perhaps we will have to have a photo session one day together.
