It's a killer image, and while I certainly agree with you on some level, disabling a vehicle of information isn't doing us any favors. We could also burn those books so kids might actually engage more with their parents and community.

I wonder if the feeling of endless bookshelf is not a bit constrained by the vignette, but I guess that was the intention.

excellent, wow, great photo this is my 4th 10 in 7 months on dpc, i love the almost wave like pattern of light book in the centre, im guessing there are 7 repeats of teh shelves, fantastic use of expert editing really works.is he stood on sand or dirt as well? like a distopian end to society with a wall of knowledge.

After reading your comments (and thank you for those) I was surprised to see that wasn't natural light... to me it has the feel of evening light kissing a window near by.. GREAT JOB and congrats on the Top 10!!
