Antenna Mastby GeneralEComment by mycelium: moving the mast a bit to the left would have helped the balance. the big empty blue space lends disproportionate weight to the whole left side such that breaking the rule of thirds is merited.
or so i see it. |

Antenna Mastby GeneralEComment by ladyhawk22: Great clouds and nice clear shot. There's a little too much visible detail for me to be able to truly call this a silhouette. Good crisp image. |

Not Again!by GeneralEComment by Neil: Paul, this was a fantastic idea for the challenge! I think what might have made this click would be to have stepped back, with a polarizer, and caught the door window frame, and the keys in the ignition. A little reflection would be ok (in fact, I can picture this with the reflection of a frustrated and upset person in the glass, as even better!)
Anyway, I just wanted to offer kudos for such a great idea. |

Antenna Mastby GeneralEComment by beaflies: Nice color, contrast, composition and cloud shapes. Interesting juxtaposition of forms. But it's not a silhouette and will be scored as such probably. |

Not Again!by GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by chuck50124: this would have been better without the blur in the foregroung. good job |
Thanks -- I really wanted to keep some reflection to make it "clear" that I was outside the window.
Glad to spread some chuckles around -- thanks for the comments! |

Not Again!by GeneralEComment by MrAnalogy: This one gets marks for both execution and its chuckle factor! Well exposed and perhaps an otherwise ordinary snapshot, the caption coupled with the view and its universal appeal to the Born Loser in all of us raises it well above average. Great idea! |

Four Windows and a Thumbby GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by train: I dont get the title I can clearly see 5 windows and if that is a thumb you could have cropped it off |
I titled it that way because the fifth window was off on a separate part of the building, similar to the way four fingers are clustered together and the thumb is off a bit to the side.
I thought about cropping the foreground, but I wanted to experiement with simulating a shallow DOF look instead. |

Not Again!by GeneralEComment by whagerbaumer: The reflection on the window makes sense of the dilemma presented. Good focus on ignition lock. A 5, however, as this is rather a common sight and there is nothing in particular that the photograph offers as insight. |
