Carverby GeneralEComment by tpoc: great idea! dad always carves at the big meals...
that round mole-looking spot on the ham is a bit distracting to my eye...i would be interested in seeing the shot without it. |

Carverby GeneralEComment by KiwiShotz: I can see the potential in this idea. The little bit of plate distracts from your idea and presentation. Am struggling to find a strong link with adulthood. |

Hey! No Cuts!by GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by macpapas: Ha, great capture! Hope you didn't get into an accident in trying to get this shot. :-) Great focus and DOF for a moving picture (even if moving slowly). I would have tried to remove some of the blue-ness of the picture in PS. |
Thanks -- not quite! I'd guess we were moving between 15-25 mph at the time -- people perform this stunt regularly at this location, so I was somewhat prepared for it, although I couldn't stage it for them to cut in front of me.
It was a little tricky as I had to hold the camera well off to the side to shoot around the Acura. The color is actually pretty much the way it looked -- this was right around sunrise on the shaded side of the hills. |

Hey! No Cuts!by GeneralEComment by thomaspeople: All too familiar with this feeling. Of course I've done it too.... Good job catching the angle enough to make it obvious. |
