Greetings from the Critique Club!

If text would've been allowed you'd have definitely got a better reception here. Your post challenge shot was well done.

The idea is really creative. Driving Pop Crazy was an excellent choice and I like how you incorporated that shopping cart buggy to get it across. I'm guessing you know what hurt you: the faded corners you left to insert the text. Most people, myself included, would've never considered that adding text was what it was for and probably voted it down wondering what the heck the photographer was thinking to post process an image like this. I didn't vote in this challenge but would've done the same thing.

Like I said, overall a great idea.

Thanks for the opportunity to critique this image!

Cheers - Phil

Hi from the Critique Club!

This was one of the few images to really meet the spirit of this challenge. It is clearly well thought out and shows a creative mind. The use of printed papers adds enormously to the effect and interest. The sheets have made appealing curves and shapes and have seperated well.

The trees help suggest the idea of wind, but had the sheets been solely against the blue sky, instead of against the trees, I think you would have scored even higher. But compositionally it does adhere to the rule of thirds well.

A well executed, creative take on the challenge.

I come from a graphic design background, so I was planning for the added type, as well as isolating the arms and reducing some of the clutter of the BG.

Here's an example of how the finished poster might look:

The areas of brightness in the UL/LR corners is very distracting

Good job. Did it bother Kate that you produced a mirror image?

Great photo, and the title is a funny description, but I get no sense of a movie from this.

Great execution of the idea. Maybe just a bit more motion blur would have made it pop more.

Nice photo. I'm not sure what to think about the white lighting you used on the bottom and upper side of the photo.
