Hillside Sunriseby GeneralEComment by skewsme: Hi again... you know, there are some lovely magentas and reds that could be brought out a little in this shot... I actually played with it a bit and pulled out a nice pastel, realistic-looking sunrise (IMO, haha). Just used curves, selective color adjustment, and hue/sat. Cropped a bit to let the little tree shine.
I can't believe you shot this blind from a car... that's remarkable!

Stand Out in Camoby GeneralEComment by Tammer: I like the natural lighting. Compared with others in the challenge, it doesn't hold my interest as well, but I did feel pride for those serving when I first viewed your photo. |

Stand Out in Camoby GeneralEComment by ShotMD: Interesting challenge for a macro... good spin. I like the angled line of the zipper... it give it some energy. I think a little more contrast would have made it pop more. |

The Midas Touchby GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by kteach: Ok.. Bingo! My son Isaac's cheek, actually.
I had considerable difficulty and really limited working time to try and get a metallic gold look; being able to use the advanced editing rules would have been a big help here, especially in being able to keep the fingers naturally-colored. |

Stand Out in Camoby GeneralEComment by ddng: There's just nothing special about this . . . Maybe a B&W version would have made it stand out more. |
