Junipalmby GeneralEComment by PHOTOKID: Hi Paul,
I think you got caught by the people looking for more than 1 tree in the challenge. This is a very nicec image and has nice contrasts to it. I would have rated in the 7 to 8 range if I had voted. But as it stands i think its a grat image for this challenge.
Sorry I couldnt be more of a help.

Junipalmby GeneralEComment by howzit: Paul, i think this picture should have scored higher than 5.1. You certainly met the challenge. Maybe it is how you framed it so centered. I think the blue sky behind the tree (palm) is stunning and even the bird in the upper right adds to the life of the picture. |

Low Keysby GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by noraneko: Cool idea, but the realization could use a little work - keys aren't quite in focus, and bag texture is a bit distracting. |
Interesting, as I figured part of the goal of this challenge was to shoot within a limited tonal range while still maintaining detail -- I deliberately chose the texture of the camera bag to show off that aspect. |

Uh, I agree, but I'd have to fire myself. : ) Message edited by author 2007-03-07 11:13:40. |

Little Tikes® Workstation Editionby GeneralEComment by JunieMoon: I think you really lose me on this photo because of the dirt and dentd finish on the bench. Perhaps a b&w conversion or the use of grain to enhance the dirty old look would have improved it, but not sure. |
