There was a challenge called ‘“Color” several years back. I did a picture of crayons in B&W. It was a good picture but it got killed in the voting. Sometimes voters do not think outside the box!

Elegant. The precise light on and through the glass seems to ethereally chime. The dark background highlights the silvery and silvery-green sparkle. Comes together quite nicely.
(This was the title I was working on, too, though it didn't get past the mockup. Less glamorous, though -- an upside down raspberry preserves jar, label still on it, and a brass bell. More, uh, rustic.)

It looks like some vegetation in front of a sun-drenched window shade. It's quite beautiful, like an animated Chinese character. Great title, as it so seems. As well as appearing brash, it's also delicate and subtle. The deep colors, and their dappled mood, are stirring. Wonderfully mysterious.
