I have to admit that it took me several looks to connect the batman spotlight with the "light" in the challenge. So now that I get it, it's more interesting to me, but still not very visually appealing to my tastes.

You've lost detail in the whites. Adjust your exposure compensation when shooting very light or dark objects. Using levels or shadow/highlights may get some detail back.

Without the title, I wouldn't have considered this a puzzle. I think the subject is cool but I find the final product lacking. There's no style nor wow factor, there's no story... It's just the tops of some plants. I imagine that I would like this more if it were a macro of the leaves, which are very cool. More of an abstract shot.
