Folded Sedimentary Layersby GeneralEComment by Strikeslip: No appreciable folds to see in this outrop, though definitely tilted. This is the type of shot a geologist would take while mapping (with hammer for scale), and is a great fit for the challenge, IMO. Did you remember to record the strike and dip? ;-) |

I do agree with Kaiser_chef that a different angle may have shown off the uniqueness of this to better advantage. An interesting entry nonetheless.
