I like the "drawn and sketched" quality. I also like the vision, the twist rather than literal take on the image. (I also like this image because, at times, I believe thought and theme get sacrificed for a "pop art" sort of technique-driven image ideal.) Its not a pretty image, but it has the brown on black graphic feel of late 70's album cover.

Intriguing and unusual plant. Nice BG. The chromatic aberration of the lens (or close up filter) spoils (for me ) the joy and insight macro can bring but some PP techniques can help you remove it, if you want :)
