Vitreous Vampyrby GeneralEComment by rjkstesch: I am really not sure what this is and whether it is a door, etc. It is an interesting image. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. 5 |

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by RKT: 4...Oh I wish I could give you more, because I do like your idea, and the fact that you did more than merely search out a title to match an image. This tells me you know a bit of what's going on between the covers. I've handed you a 4 becasue I think this is poorly crafted. There is that weird little hot white pixel above the left side of his head. There is also a grayish one right above the left thumb. Maybe it's stuff on the ground, but it could have been cloned or healed away. There is also a haloing around some edges, perhaps from over sharpening. It's also noisy. I don't mind some natural looking grain sort of noise, and sometimes digital noise works, but for this image I don't care for it. Lastly, the B&W conversion is quite flat. I think a simple levels or curve adjustment might help that. Simple little technical fixes would make this quite a nice little photograph. |

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by mariuca: Too bad that you did not find a boy to hold the bowl. There are a few inconsistencies here determined mostly by the awkwardness of the sitter. I would be happy if you will revisit this idea. I would like to see the result.

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by lunachicken: There are some excellent shots in this challenge that really reflect not just the title of the book, but the content as well. This is one of them. The second I opened this I could hear his voice in my head politely asking for some more, please. Bonus points for doing this as a grainy dark black and white. 9 |

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by Garry: Just a perfect shot for the chosen book! Really love the b&w treatment and the unusual perspective! Nicely done! Wish the background was solid black though, the mottled look is a touch distracting/ |

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by vawendy: Excellent! Fits the novel beautifully, love the dirty hand. Not sure of cutting off the fingers on the bottom and the negative space. I think I like the negative space, but would have liked the fingers? I would have cloned the white speck up on the background, as well (doesn't hurt the score, just a critique). -8- |

Oliver Twistby GeneralEComment by Denielle: I like this shot... but it seems a little rigid(?). Not quite sure about the word I'm looking for.
But the outline of the boys hands looks odd.
Still, I gave it a 6 |
