I love a full three dimensional effect moreso that a flat appearance. The texture here is also nice, but the flat color leaves me begging for more... - jmsetzler | Photographer found comment helpful. |

And I don't think that's what you intended. Even with the two thirds thing the girl and her guy are STILL too far at the edge to be in range. So what the eye sees first is the line of posts and the shadows the make...which are nice BTW. Both peope are a bit too chopped off, A lille more of each and a tiny bit more background on the sides would have moved them in so that the viewer would see tem first and not have to search a second for the center. Couldn't back up, you say, well, that's why it's a six. Perfect scene does not always make perfect picture. (PS 6 is like a B- on my scale). |

Didn't feel that I could give up an honest opintion of anything feeling as crappy as I have. I don't usually tell what I gave, but since I saw your forum post,I'll let yo know I gave you a 5(By the way, I use the entire 1-10 scale, so a 5 is my "like it, but something bothers me" vote) and here is why...I think that you should not have cut the guy standing on the post out of the photo, but I think that you might have wanted to include him in it more. Maybe this might have had a higher visual impact from behind the woman with the camera a little more, and even with the hip shot could have aimed up a bit more to include more of the man. Taking you photo from almost the same angle as the woman's might have helped, I think. The lighting was great, and clarity and focus are also very nice. I hope this helps any. ~Heather~ |

The couple just beyond the one you were shooting would have made an interesting shot -- it looks like she is pushing him off. By the way, I gave you a 5, so i felt it was a pretty good picture. |
