Male Stripperby GeneralEComment by dodobird: Wow I didn't know anyone did that anymore. My Dad retired from that job about 14 years ago right when it started changing over to computers. Too bad you did not score better, I always thought the title of stripper was funny. Anytime anyone asked what my Dad did, I said the same and always got a gasp out of it.
Good luck with your future shots

Aqueous Humor, Vitreous Humor (Medical Humor)by GeneralEComment by HBunch: Not even knowing what I'm looking at, I didn't laugh. I'm sure someone will maybe find it funny, but heck, I don't even know what it is. I guess this is a photo for only a certain group of people. I can't even comment on the focus or angle or lighting or anything. Sorry. |

For Your Protection...by GeneralEComment by LanSnake: Greetings from the Critique Club,
This photograph has a science fiction feel to me; leaves me with one of those disturbing 'we are watching you' vibes. This weird feeling seems to be amplified by the odd colors -- has this photo been inverted in a graphic editor?
There are two things I would consider to improve this photograph:
1. It might be fun to work with all of the geometric shapes here and try for a composition that draws the viewer's eye to the subject. Which element is most important? Play with the lines and framing to pull the viewer to that important element.
2. Technically, I think the focus could be improved. I'm not sure the weird color effect is helping either, maybe try this as a black and white study in contrasts?

Where Have All The Flowers Gone?by GeneralEComment by Swashbuckler: Nice photo. Interesting shadows. Who is the boy in the photo and why is it sideways? Mostly, I see shrubbery parts that are used in flower arrangements, and a few dried flowers in front of the photo. I think I see the point you were going for, but I think I would have liked the flowers to be prominent. 6 Swash |
