Heaven's Gate?by GeneralEComment by teachme53: As the picture started to emerge on the screen I thought oh no another church. But, I like the way the title and the gate work together. The lighting on the gate is great, I will assume you could not get that lighting or it needed to be in shadows so you could see the image of the stain glass. Personnally I would like to have seen some light hitting the window. But won't subtract points for what I would like to see. Good Luck, John Gill |

Square Shimby GeneralEComment by KimInNB: Nice colors. Aren't you glad they started to allow borders? The border adds a lot to your photo, I find |

Heaven's Gate?by GeneralEComment by FranziskaLang: challenge met. nice church building, i love stainglass window. the gates are rather distracting in this shot, even though i understand they are the focus of you shot. the strong light/shadow contrast suggests you took this photo during the daytime, maybe earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon (if that was possible with your schedule) would've softened the shadows some. |

Square Shimby GeneralEComment by dadas115: What an interesting item, is it actually that color or did you use a filter? This picture is one of the few that grabbed my attention this week. The background is a bit dark, but not too dark I think. The color works well for me, and the texture is pleasing. The shim looks like it was just kind of tossed down there, the composition might be helped if you set it slightly off center. I donĂ¢€™t find the border adding much to the picture, and if it were my picture I would not include it. The lighting is nice and overall I think you have done a good job with this one.
