Study in Form and Toneby GeneralEComment by frisca: I like the lines of the back and arm. I wish the hand was in focus so that it could more a part of the shot rather than a bit of a distraction. |

Study in Form and Toneby GeneralEComment by dsidwell: Very engaging lines and use of light celebrate and bring out the beauty of the human form. It's refreshing that this is a child--very tastefully done. |

Study in Form and Toneby GeneralEComment by JPR: and it was an excellent study. Looks like you accomplished what you wanted to. Great composition, form, tone, lighting, etc. For some reason i would have liked all of the thumb to be lit, but im being very picky here. I like the golden hue for the skin and the lines of the back and shoulderblades really position the body well in the frame. It is soft and lovely, 9 |

Crossing Home, Headed Home...by GeneralEComment by pncowley: Border clashes with photo. (teal and bright green don't look good together) Pic is a bit busy. And I wish I could see someone's emotion. Nice play on the challenge. |

Crossing Home, Headed Home...by GeneralEComment by eloise: 5. Fits the theme well enough, and there are no blatant 'you suck!' flaws to it, but neither does it really grab me for any reason at all. For reasons of composition, cropping, or subject choice, it's just a photo, and doesn't do especially much for me, aesthetically.
None of the people are composed to be central, and yet it's not wide enough for the sweep of the ballpark to be the star, either. A better focus on any of the people might have helped. |
