First of all, not everyone understands "coup de grâce" I suppose.

Secondly, even when you do, the picture doesn't get any clearer IMHO. It may be an 'artsy' picture, but it's not clear enough for a challenge I think.

I'm intrigued by the way that the large blue area pushes my eyes to the left of the image. From there I follow the pier into the center of the image only to find the Golden Gate bridge off in the distance. I feel this image has some great composition and flow to it. I really like how the presence of the GG Bridge is minimized, yet featured by the composition.

Excellent photo, 9 (if I were a voter).

I'm just getting to see your clouds now. I personally love clouds and I am always at odds with my room-mate who says "what a beautiful day, not a clud in the sky." To me that is boring with a capital B! I love when the sky is bright with those great clouds. Some of my best shots that I have taken in my life include those clouds. This one is awesome.

Very cool, is this a fossil? Not getting that infinite feeling with this. Good focus. Maybe a darker background to show more contrast around the edges of the shell.

There isnt really much to see here, although I think that could be a chain and some cobwebs. I would have liked a larger area maybe, but it does well at making the viewer want to know what else is there hidding in the shadows.
