Well, since I am red-green color-blind, I always have trouble with blues and purples. In this case, I was relying on Isaac's opinion that the monkeys themselves had a dusky purple color to them, somewhat like elderberries ... I can't really argue the case either way from Photoshop's densitometry info, as the borderline between blues and purples is so nebulous.

Thanks, I think you have the right idea, except for suggesting I make Isaac stand in a cold shower!

That wasn't really necessary anyhow, as I've apparently fooled you with (as I recall) a Photoshop effect and not real lens fog ... there was no "mist" as the shower was tepid, and I think I had to use the flash to get a decent exposure, freezing the large drops (not very mist-like).

First off might I say to you - I love the humor that you have allowed this image to possess by giving it such a hilarious title. It definately helps one to understand where you are coming from when you took this photograph.

Now, to be honest with you. I would have had the young man in the image stand more in from of the shadows in which his body throws off from the light, yet still managing to cover the portion of the body that you have along with spatula just as you have it.

I realize that your title read "Griller", although it is known that hot water will cause any "glass" materials to fog up. Thus you can see it did this to your lense. I would suggest that any future projects such as this that you turn the cold water on just for a little bit that way you can get the mist clearly without the fog distracting the lens. Although the fog does make one clearly visualize the heat in the shower, it takes away from the quality of the image.

Cute shot, but the framing seems unbalanced, and it looks oversharpened. Also, I'm not getting much of a hint of purple here.
