Now, this looks very interesting. I wonder how it may look if you apply a gaussean blur to give it a hazy cloudy look. Bumping from 4 to 6 |

Cheeseclothby GeneralEComment by Bassie: Not a very appealing subject to me but it is photographed well. I've got to hand it to you though, you made cheesecloth look like a work of art. Good job. |

... And MY Battery is JUST RIGHT!by GeneralEComment by airatic: AA batteries are pretty normal size, not miniature, but they are smaller than C or D batteries, so I'll let this one slide. Lighting is very harsh (glare off the large flashlight). |

Cheeseclothby GeneralEComment by nborton: texture is one of the things that makes macros interesting, and you have some nice texture. however, the lighting seems a little hard. also the subject isn't as interesting, past the texture, as other subjects in the challenge. |

... And MY Battery is JUST RIGHT!by GeneralEComment by dwolff: First thought was that it didn't meet the challenge (I was looking for a miniature battery). On a second look I can see the different size flashlights so I guess it does meet the challenge. I think the picture is too busy. I don't like the battery as the focal point. Maybe if the small blue flashlight was were the battery is... |

Cheeseclothby GeneralEComment by Dr.Confuser: I like this a lot. The flow of the cloth leads my eye around in a pleasing way. Very nice use of negative space. Non-stereotypical subject helps a lot and provides relief from the bugs. Hope it does well. |
